Titin & Bayrem
It all started in May 2022 with a simple “Salaam” on a dating app. Separated by 12 hours between Indonesia and Canada, our days began just as the other’s ended—yet we always found time to share our stories, languages, and cultures. By late 2022, those simple conversations grew into a deep comfort, and we found ourselves falling in love across the ocean.
In mid-2023, Titin made the move to Australia to pursue new opportunities. With Bayrem’s constant support, our journey evolved from an Indonesia–Canada story into an Australia–Canada LDR by late 2023. Spanning thousands of miles, oceans, and time zones, the distance only made our bond stronger.
By early 2024, Titin introduced Bayrem to her parents through a video call, marking a meaningful step forward. The long-awaited moment finally arrived in September 2024, when Bayrem flew to Indonesia for our very first meeting and spent precious time with Titin’s family.
In June 2025, Titin traveled to Canada to meet Bayrem’s family. Despite coming from different cultures and languages, any fear vanished as she was welcomed with pure warmth and affection, proving that true love knows no boundaries.
Now, as we celebrate our love with our cherished families and friends in both September 2026 (Indonesia) and October 2026 (Canada), we step into this beautiful new chapter together.
